UPDATES
I have refined the subscribe section to ensure that visitors need only to submit once to be part of the email list.
My subscriber list has grown from zero to three. Yeah! People want to keep up with Waggish Writer!
I shared on my LinkedIn profile that I am a creative writer, self-employed on the tips through my Buy Me a Coffee profile that I have called "Buy Me a French Vietnamese."
I shared with a Facebook group about my website with plans to eventually share my website to the world in general in time.
One of my poems, "Behold the Ice Dragons," is to be featured on the website of my work at Sweetwaters Plymouth and Green. It is a poem I wrote and performed in a live stream to honor our customers who have been extremely supportive in this time of COVID-19.
I have written my first "Waggish Writer Writes" post about the Peony Garden that the Nichols Arboretum in Ann Arbor, MI is known for, including my first usage of the gallery feature.
I maybe doing a request for a FanFiction for "Herbie: Fully Loaded." I am awaiting more details to see if the project is a go. I will follow up on the result of the project.
BLOOPERS
One of my subscribers pointed out errors in my Lord of the Rings blog series a serious offense: spelling Frodo Baggins as "Fordo Baggins." I have gone back to re-read to the post to fix that error and check to see if there are any other errors. If anyone else spots something in any of my blog posts, please leave a comment of my error. I will do my best to correct it.
Another subscriber caught a blooper in my about section. "Brian" and "Brain" are two different things. That has been corrected.
SCHEMES
Writers are the greatest schemers, plotting the course of their adventures to guide their characters and readers, whether they realize the writer's guiding hand or not. I am sharing some of my schemes to give you content to look forward to in the upcoming days/weeks/months/years.
Schemes for Author:
I have been inspired to update Samurai Sisters with Chapter 5 and Chapter 6. I am debating if I should combine chapters, but I will not worry about it for now. My eventual plan is once I have completed the story is I will take time to revise it and see if I can create a polished e-book. As it is a rendition of a fairy tale, I do not know the legal details or if it possible. It is a bridge I'll cross when I get there.
I have a tentative idea of another story to release as part of my 6 month point. The temporary name of the series is "Legacy of Layla."
At the 6 month point, I will be releasing Part 2 of "A Story Years in the Making," where I introduce the second story I had to branch out the idea due to too many good ideas in the same story. The temporary name for the Part 2 series is "Elemental Equinox."
Schemes for Poet:
I will post when the mood strikes me with poetry being more spontaneous than my other types of writing and the quickest to share. I may tidy them up a little because I am a bit of a perfectionist, which is why I am slow in sharing my writing.
Schemes for Screenwriter:
I await your comments to let me know if you want more of either a completed Fire Soul draft or Episode 2 for Hellnest Manor. If there is enough interest, I will either work on getting Season 2 for Hellnest Manor ready to show or present Episode 1 of other anime season scripts I have on the back burner.
Schemes for Journalist:
As I shared that I will update chapters for my author persona at least once a week, I will trade on and off with "Waggish Writer Geeks Out" and "A Matter of Mantra." I released my first "Waggish Writer Writes" post. Now, I have to be on the look out for cool content for my three personas. Put ideas in the comment section with "Journalist" as part of it so I can be on the look out for your ideas!
FanFiction Writer
For this week, inspiration moved me to update not only one but two stories. Readers on FanFiction.net reached out via the review section asking for content for "Pride's Moon Bride" and "X-Wielder: Nobody Chasing." In response, I have released to the Universe Chapter 21 for "PMB" and Chapter 4 for "XWNC." It warms an author's heart to respond to readers with new content. Trade off is I will sooner or later have to glue myself down to proceed with the stories.
With the release of three FanFiction series at different stages, I will be trading on and off of which chapters to publish. At least once a week, I will update one story with one chapter.
You can affect the stories' progress by commenting in the comments which one you would like to see next. Otherwise, the stories will flow naturally.
