Waggish Writer Week 2: Updates, Bloopers, and Schemes

Updated: Apr 23, 2021

Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit Waggish Writer.

Below are the updates, bloopers, and schemes I have for the website's future.

UPDATES

  • I will gradually be adding the "Buy Me a French Vietnamese" button from my Buy Me a Coffee profile when the posting/story is complete.

  • I spent a bit of time trying to become more consistent in how I sign off on posts.

  • I have expanded my Poet Persona to post my poetry in a location that is easier to access. There is a button at the bottom of the poet persona page.

  • I have updated "Pride's Moon Bride" and "X-Wielder: Nobody Chasing" for FanFiction with new chapters.

BLOOPERS

  • I was contacted on my FanFiction story for Pride's Moon Bride that my chapter came out weird. I believe how I pasted the document from its original file mixed everything up. I resolved the issue and I will 1) double check to make sure my content is visible and 2) be aware of the funky issues that may appear in transiting between my content to the Internet.

SCHEMES

Writers are the greatest schemers, plotting the course of their adventures to guide their characters and readers, whether they realize the writer's guiding hand or not. I am sharing some of my schemes to give you content to look forward to in the upcoming days/weeks/months/years.

  • Schemes for Author:

  • One new chapter release is the ideal goal for me. For Samurai Sisters, since one of the chapters have been short, I do not want to cheat visitors from the rest of the story, which is why the first week and the second week have had two chapters up at the same time. The trade off is that I may take time to work on creating new content for the stories.

  • At the 6 month point, I will be releasing Part 2 of "A Story Years in the Making," where I introduce the second story I had to branch out the idea due to too many good ideas in the same story. The temporary name for the Part 2 series is "Elemental Equinox."

  • Schemes for Poet:

  • I will post when the mood strikes me with poetry being more spontaneous than my other types of writing and the quickest to share. I may tidy them up a little because I am a bit of a perfectionist, which is why I am slow in sharing my writing.

  • Schemes for Screenwriter:

  • I await your comments to let me know if you want more of either a completed Fire Soul draft or Episode 2 for Hellnest Manor. If there is enough interest, I will either work on getting Season 2 for Hellnest Manor ready to show or present Episode 1 of other anime season scripts I have on the back burner.

  • Schemes for Journalist:

  • With my "Waggish Writer Geeks Out" series starting, I will work on my professional presentation in my series of "Waggish Writer Writes" or take time to reflect in my series "A Matter of Mantra." I simply have to build my momentum to launch the projects.

  • FanFiction Writer

  • Inspired by releasing "X-Wielder: Nobody Chasing" and updating "Pride's Moon Bride" on my FanFiction, I am releasing "Her Maid, Blood Bird," in the universe known in English as "Black Butler" or its Japanese title, "Kuroshitsuji" that has a manga by Yana Toboso and its animation version by A-1 studios. I cannot and will not attempt to pronounce the Japanese name of the animation in fear of mangling the beautiful Japanese language.

  • With the release of three FanFiction series at different stages, I will be trading on and off of which chapters to publish. At least once a week, I will update one story with one chapter.

  • You can affect the stories' progress by commenting in the comments which one you would like to see next. Otherwise, the stories will flow naturally.

That's all I have currently for updates, bloopers, and schemes. See you next week for more updates, bloopers, and schemes for Waggish Writer.
