A Matter of Mantra: An Evolving Listicle for Inspiration and Motivation

Everyone reaches a point in their life that they feel stuck. They go through the motions with their day, treading to keep their heads above the water.

I've been there. I've had days where I just do enough to keep my head above the water, but I know in my heart treading water and moving forward are two different things.

An individual keeps just above the surface, present but unmoving until they decide to take the first stroke forward.

That feeling of being stuck prompted me to get help in the form of a life coach, Charlotte Kaye.

It was through her services that I first encountered mantras and slowly moved forward, one stroke, one mantra, at a time.

What follows is an evolving list of mantras to others who are or who have been like me: treading water in life, not sure in the direction to go.

First up is a rambling list of the mantras as they entered my life. Some of them have links to a blog post where I shed light on why that mantra mattered to me.

Following the main list are categories I've grouped for:

My goal is to offer motivation and inspiration through the medium I love most: words.

A spotless, white kitchen sink with pink gloves handy for the time to wash dishes and put them away for another day. Mantras are the dishes piled in the mind's sink until we take the time to clean up after ourselves.
The kitchen sink is where dishes pile up someone either loads the dishwasher or does dishes. Mantras do fill the sink, and they only move on when an individual embraces the words into a belief. Photo credit: Wix

An Open Door to Build Community

This evolving list and the small categories are fluid, and I would love to add more to this list to expand my reach of motivation and inspiration for women and writers who sometimes feel as though they're just getting by.

If you have a mantra or a phrase that you feel can spark inspiration or motivation, drop it in the comments. I would love to expand the list and re-share these gems of content.

Until next time, have a wonderful life. <3
