Waggish Writer Week 6 Updates, Bloopers, and Schemes

Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit Waggish Writer.

The following below are my updates, bloopers, and schemes for the website's future.

UPDATES

  • I have settled down to personally thank the 10 individuals who have subscribed to Waggish Writer in the time I have announced to the universe that Waggish Writer exists. Several subscribers joined after I had shared with the universe via Facebook that Waggish Writer is here.

  • A new subscriber has joined, growing the subscriber list to 11.

  • I have created a 'Thank You for Subscribing' and 'Thank You for Contacting' form for visitors. These forms will also inform me, so I am able to show my gratitude to those who want to follow my creative adventures and those wishing to talk to me. As I am still working on understanding the inner workings of running a website, please let me know if there are any issues in the comment section below.

  • I shared a post on "A Forgotten Victory" in my Poet Persona when I rediscovered a poetry book that had one of my poems on it.

BLOOPERS

  • I realized there was a slight error on the welcome page that I corrected and took the time to tighten up some grammar. Less words can mean more with the right words.

  • I had realized that I forgot to advertise that I had another post on the Ann Arbor Observer's "Everyone's a Critic." I have added the notice in my Journalist persona. The title of the piece is "A Day in a Mask," which was posted on June 11, 2020. So shame on me for being delayed in sharing this piece of news.

SCHEMES

Writers are the greatest schemers, plotting the course of their adventures to guide their characters and readers, whether they realize the writer's guiding hand or not. I am sharing some of my schemes to give you content to look forward to in the upcoming days/weeks/months/years.

  • Schemes for Author:

    • I have been inspired to update "Samurai Sisters" with Chapter 8, finally settling down to write it. It helped that I bribed myself with working on the story for 30 minutes to then read "The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia."

    • I have a tentative idea of another story to release as part of my 6 month point. The temporary name of the series is "Legacy of Layla."

    • At the 6 month point, I will be releasing Part 2 of "A Story Years in the Making," where I introduce the second story I had to branch out the idea due to too many good ideas in the same story. The temporary name for the Part 2 series is "Elemental Equinox."

  • Schemes for Poet:

    • I will post when the mood strikes me with poetry being more spontaneous than my other types of writing and the quickest to share. I may tidy them up a little because I am a bit of a perfectionist, which is why I am slow in sharing my writing.

  • Schemes for Screenwriter:

    • I await your comments to let me know if you want more of either a completed Fire Soul draft or Episode 2 for Hellnest Manor. If there is enough interest, I will either work on getting Season 2 for Hellnest Manor ready to show or present Episode 1 of other anime season scripts I have on the back burner.

  • Schemes for Journalist:

    • As I have put out first posts for "Waggish Writer Geeks Out," "A Matter of Mantra," and "Waggish Writer Writes," I will be on the look out for cool content for my three variations of my journalist persona. As I plan to share a post once a week, I will trade on and off with "Waggish Writer Geeks Out" and "A Matter of Mantra."

    • Put ideas in the comment section with "Journalist" as part of it so I can be on the look out for your ideas!

  • FanFiction Writer

    • For this week, inspiration moved me to update "Pride's Moon Bride" with Chapter 22. It is the story that seems to draw the most viewers. I hope that as I continue working on developing the "X-Wielder" series and "Her Maid, Blood Bird" that they will draw viewers .

    • With the release of three FanFiction series at different stages, I will be trading on and off of which chapters to publish. At least once a week, I will update one story with one chapter.

    • You can affect the stories' progress by commenting in the comments which one you would like to see next. Otherwise, the stories will flow naturally.

    • Bonus: In the upcoming weeks, there may be a new story in the works set in the Fandom of "The Legend of Zelda." I will share details when they come up.

Thank you for taking time to visit Waggish Writer. If you wish to show your appreciation, you are welcome to...
